Tower of Stars. The Milky Way visually erupts alongside Spot Mountain Lookout and over the reflected lights of Boise, 164 miles away - as the crow flies. Though we occasionally see the distant glow of Boise and Missoula, we see no permanent artificial lights from the tower, which allows the Milky Way to be experienced in all its glory. Nikon D810 with Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8. 7/26/19.
